2011 GMC Terrain 2.4L Engine Light On with P0089 and P0228D Fuel Pressure Codes
My 2011 GMC Terrain has developed engine light and StabilityTrak warning lights, and the vehicle now reduces engine power upon startup. After scanning the OBD2 system, I'm seeing two fault codes: P0089 and P0227D — both related to high fuel pressure. I've measured the fuel pressure and it reads 60 psi, which is above the normal range for this model. I have already replaced both the high-pressure fuel pump and fuel pressure regulators (FP Regulator 1 and 2). Despite these repairs, the issue persists. I'm now unsure whether there's another component involved or if the problem lies in a sensor reading or wiring. Any insights on how to diagnose or fix this would be greatly appreciated.
