2011 Ford Super Duty 250 Drive Train Fault Codes: Are P0013, P0201, P300 Misfires Due to External Issues Like PCM?

Model: 2011 Ford Super Duty 250 Fault Code: P2177 Posted: 2015-08-08 07:45

Hello, I'm looking at a 2011 Ford Super Duty 250 available at an auction. The vehicle displays the following OBD-II diagnostic codes: - P0013: Camshaft Position Actuator Bank 1 malfunction - P0201 and P0205: Injector malfunction (bank 1 and bank 2) - P300, P0300, and P0305: Misfire codes across multiple cylinders I'm trying to assess whether these issues are likely caused by external factors such as a faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM), rather than internal engine problems like burned valves. I'd like to avoid spending my entire budget on a vehicle that may require costly repairs. Can anyone provide insight into the likelihood of these codes being due to non-engine components or mechanical wear? Any real-world experience with similar 2011 Super Duty models would be greatly appreciated.

A faulty PCM is unlikely. Burned valves are a rare occurrence compared to these issues. If there were an easy, quick fix available, the auction seller would have addressed it already. Moreover, a 2011 Ford Super Duty being sold at auction price suggests it's not in great condition—this should be a red flag for potential hidden or significant repairs.
