2011 Dodge Challenger P0038 Fault Code After Catalytic Converter Removal and Header Installation

Model: 2011 Dodge Challenger Fault Code: P0038 Posted: 2016-10-19 14:26

I recently removed the catalytic converter from my 2011 Dodge Challenger and replaced it with headers. Since then, I've been receiving a P0038 engine fault code, and the check engine light remains illuminated. Is there a safe or official way to clear this code or disable the warning light without causing further damage to the vehicle's emissions system?

For off-road or racing applications, aftermarket powertrain control modules (PCM) may be available as a solution. However, these should only be used with proper tuning and understanding of their impact on emissions compliance.
