need help my 2010 mazda cx7 2.3l has 3 codes all are the same p2096 i took to a shop they told me i needed an upstream o2 sensor so i change it cleared the code the next day lite back on don't know what to do tried of throwing away money.

Did the shop diagnosed the error code as being caused by the upstream o2 sensor or did they just tell you to try a new sensor and see if fixes the problem? If you paid for their expertise and it didn't fix the problem i would expect them to make it right.
