2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.7L 2WD: C1027, C102A, U1417 Codes - ABS, ESP, BAS Lights On | Troubleshooting Guide
I own a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.7L 2WD and recently encountered multiple OBD-II diagnostic codes: C1027, C102A, and U1417. These codes are triggering the ABS, ESP, and BAS warning lights on my vehicle. The specific fault codes indicate: - C1027: Left rear wheel speed sensor signal erratic performance - C102A: Left rear wheel speed comparative performance issue - U1417: Implausible left wheel distance signal received I have already replaced brake pads on all four wheels and recently changed the rims and tires. The left rear tire was not properly tightened during installation, which caused a noise. I suspect this may have contributed to the sensor issues. The ABS, ESP, and BAS warning lights appeared after the brake work. I did not reprogram the vehicle's system when installing new rims without TPMS sensors. The TPMS light is also currently on. I'm seeking advice on the most likely root cause and how to resolve these codes effectively.
C1027 indicates erratic signal from the left rear wheel speed sensor. C102A shows a performance discrepancy in comparing left rear wheel speed data. U1417 suggests an implausible distance signal is being received from the left wheel — all pointing strongly to issues with the left rear wheel speed sensor or its associated wiring and connectors.
