2010 Chrysler 3.8L Engine P0404 Code: EGR Issues and MAP Sensor Influence

I recently replaced the EGR valve and cleaned the EGR tube, but the P0404 code returned. I then removed the EGR to check if it was stuck open—no issue found. Could the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor be affecting EGR function even without setting a separate fault code?

Ensure the EGR circuit is properly intact and securely connected. There does not appear to be a direct connection between the MAP sensor and EGR system in this model.
