2010 Chrysler P0300 & P0335 difficult starting, rough idle

Model: 2010 Chrysler Fault Code: P0300 Posted: 2018-02-08 18:20

So my van died on me last night and thankfully I was able to restart and drive home. It’ll still start but not without giving it extra throttle. So far I’ve changed the CPK sensor as well as all the spark plugs. Problem still persists. My next guess is changing the connector for the CPK sensor. Any other ideas would be extremely greatful!

Check the connector pins for proper voltage/ground/signal. See BBBind.com for electrical schematic. Maybe do a wiggle test on wiring/connector to induce problem. See if scan tool RPM shows intermittent signal.

Thanks for the input! BBBind is a good resource for wiring (much better than what’s in my Haynes manual). I located a new harness if needed - I’ll update on how it goes with the test.

The wire colours don’t match up with bbbind. I have red with yellow, blue and green. Koeo, red with yellow 0v, blue 0v and green varies between 2-4 volts. I’m trying to find where it connects to the pcm and check continuity on each wire. I’m assuming “green” is supposed to be 5 volt supply. Which so far is leading me to believe there’s a wiring issue.
