2010 Chevrolet Camaro P0449 and P0446 Fault Code Fix: Does Replacing Vapor Canister Vent Valve Solve Both Issues?
The check engine light is illuminated, and the vehicle is displaying fault codes P0449 and P0446. I'm considering replacing the vapor canister vent valve or solenoid—will this fix both codes, or are there additional components that might need attention? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Cam
A faulty vent valve can trigger both P0449 and P0446 codes. However, since the valve is part of a larger circuit, it's possible that the entire evaporative emission system circuit may also be at fault and require inspection or repair.
