2009 Chevy Trailblazer OBD2 Codes P0141, P2101, P0030, P0102, P0135, P0036 - Rough Idle and Misfire Diagnosis

Model: 2009 Chevy Trailblazer Fault Code: P0030 Posted: 2018-06-02 16:32

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and appreciate any help or guidance in advance. I recently purchased a 2009 Chevrolet Trailblazer that is experiencing severe idle roughness and misfiring. After installing an OBD-II scanner, the vehicle returned multiple diagnostic trouble codes: P0141, P2101, P0030, P0102, P0135, and P0036. I noticed a small animal carcass on top of the engine, which led me to clean various sensors and filters. However, I'm still unsure how to properly diagnose or resolve these issues. Could anyone provide insight into where to start troubleshooting these specific codes in my 2009 Chevy Trailblazer? Any advice on sensor checks, wiring connections, or fuel system problems would be greatly appreciated.

The vehicle also appears not to be receiving proper fuel delivery, which could contribute to the misfire and rough idle. This should be investigated alongside the OBD codes.

Check BBBind.com for an electrical schematic of the 2009 Chevy Trailblazer. Some of these codes—especially P0141, P0030, and P0036—are often linked to common wiring issues, such as damage from animal chewing. Inspect all relevant sensor connections and grounding points. Follow standard troubleshooting procedures for each code as outlined in this forum's trouble code guide.
