2008 VW Jetta 2.5L Engine Misfire: P0102 and P0113 Fault Codes After Minor Collision

I'm trying to repair my son's 2008 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5L after a minor collision. I've already replaced the radiator/condenser and the air intake sensor, but the vehicle is now showing fault codes P0102 and P0113. When I disconnect the air intake sensor, the engine runs normally, though the same P0102 and P01103 codes remain. However, as soon as I reconnect the sensor, the engine stalls completely. Upon restarting, it runs very roughly. I'm looking for help to diagnose and fix this issue—especially since the air intake sensor appears to be a key factor in triggering these fault codes. Any insights into potential wiring issues, sensor calibration, or underlying engine problems would be greatly appreciated.
