2008 Hyundai Tiburon GS 2.0L OBD II Codes P0170, P0171, P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303 - Engine Hesitation Diagnosis

Model: 2008 hyundai tiburon gs 2.0 Fault Code: P0170 Posted: 2016-11-25 02:02

Hi, I own a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon GS with a 2.0L engine. Recently, my car has been displaying several OBD II diagnostic codes: P0170, P0171, P0300, P0301, P0302, and P0303. After replacing both the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor and the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor, the vehicle still hesitates during acceleration. I'm wondering if these codes are related to the hesitation or if there's another underlying issue. Could it be a fuel delivery problem or faulty sensors? Any advice on how to troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated.

NO. The hesitation is not likely due to the MAF or MAP sensor replacement. Check fuel pressure, fuel trim values (FTs), and oxygen sensor voltages. A possible root cause could be a failing fuel pump.
