Its skips trans sometimes why in motion and at other times the reverse gear engages roughly until I put it off and restarts

Please can it be caused by a dirty or clogged transmission filter because I just my fluid? Thanks

Don't have a good answer for you other than following the test procedure outlined. Was filter changed recently? If not then could cause problems if clogged.
