My 2008 GMC Acadia is exhibiting symptoms of transmission slippage, accompanied by the appearance of fault code U0073. The dashboard displays messages related to park assist, traction control, and stable link on all roads. These issues do not occur consistently—sometimes they appear after driving for a while, then disappear. After turning off the vehicle and waiting several minutes, the system resets temporarily, only for the symptoms to reappear later. This intermittent behavior makes troubleshooting difficult.

We own a 2008 Chevrolet Express van with the same U0073 code appearing, along with transmission slippage, hard shifting, ABS light illuminated, and a service engine light on. We've spent over $1,000 trying to resolve this issue with various mechanics—no success so far. Has anyone successfully resolved their U0073 problem in a 2008 GMC Acadia or similar model?
