My 2008 Ford F15-0 with a 4.6L V8 engine is not moving in forward gears (D, 1, 2) but operates normally in reverse. I've already changed the transmission fluid and replaced the output shaft speed sensor (OSS). The vehicle has 230,000 miles on it. Despite these efforts, the P0720 diagnostic trouble code persists. I'm hoping to avoid a full transmission rebuild or replacement due to cost concerns. What are the next steps I should take? I need this truck to be mobile as soon as possible.
