2008 Dodge Sprinter P0234 Fault: Turbo Overboost Diagnosis and Repair
Has anyone experienced the P0234 error code on their 2008 Dodge Sprinter? I've already replaced the fuel filter, high-pressure turbo hose, and cleaned the EGR valve. Despite these efforts, the issue persists. My current suspicion is a leak in the intercooler, which I plan to inspect next. I've had three diagnostic readings: the first two indicated that the turbocharger actuator was not functioning properly. However, the third diagnosis—considered the most reliable—shows that the turbocharger itself is operating normally but triggers an overboost condition. This discrepancy has me confused. Any insights or advice on diagnosing and resolving this P0234-related overboost issue in a 2008 Dodge Sprinter would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your help.
