I am currently experiencing persistent P0430 and P2098 diagnostic trouble codes on my 2008 Chevrolet Lumina. The vehicle has no modifications and is stock. I'm seeking advice on how to properly diagnose and resolve these issues. Any insights into possible root causes, such as fuel trim abnormalities or engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) readings, would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, I've been advised to check the pre-catalyst oxygen sensor voltages and consider whether using incorrect or substandard fuel could be contributing to this problem.

Are there any additional diagnostic trouble codes present? FIRST - The vehicle is stock with no modifications. Using an OBD2 scanner, check the fuel trims (FTs) and engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT). A rich fuel condition may be the underlying issue. Inspect the voltage readings from the pre-catalyst oxygen sensors. In some cases, using incorrect or low-quality fuel can trigger these codes.
