2007 Chrysler Town & Country ABS Code C0018 or C1018 - How to Interpret and Fix

Model: 2007 Town and Country Fault Code: C0018 Posted: 2014-06-07 14:16

I own a 2007 Chrysler Town & Country Touring with a persistent ABS warning light. Using an Innova 3030F OBD-II scanner, I'm retrieving an ABS fault code displaying as '18'. The system shows either C0018 or C1018, but the device only displays '18' without specifying the full code. I cannot find a reliable source to decode this Chrysler-specific ABS code on the Innova website, which does not recognize the value 18. The ABS light is on constantly and has not been triggered by any known driving conditions or wheel issues. I'm seeking guidance on how to properly interpret this code and whether it's related to a sensor, module, or wiring issue in my vehicle. Any advice on troubleshooting steps or recommended tools for accurate diagnosis would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Larry

Chrysler's ABS fault codes are typically formatted as Cxxxx (e.g., C0018, C1018). The display showing only '18' may indicate an abridged or incomplete output from the scanner. I suspect your Innova 3030F device might not be fully compatible with the 2007 Town & Country's ABS system, especially for decoding specific Chrysler vehicle codes. SUGGESTION: Visit the official Innovasite website and contact their technical support or customer service directly. They may provide a code lookup tool or recommend an alternative scanner that supports full OEM code formatting. Additionally, try using your reader to retrieve other diagnostic data such as pending fault history or emission monitor status—this can confirm whether basic communication between the ECU and sensors is functioning properly.
