Hello, I own a 2007 Nissan Primastar with a 2.0L engine and 115 horsepower. Recently, the vehicle has started experiencing a missfire and significant loss of power, accompanied by Diagnostic Trouble Code P0201. I've checked the voltage at each injector and found that Injector No. 1 only reads 8 volts, while all others show 10 volts or more. I'm concerned about whether this is due to a faulty Injection Control Module (ICM) or damaged wiring. While I know these vehicles are prone to broken wires, I'm unsure if the reduced voltage on Injector 1 indicates an ICM issue. How can I properly test the voltage output from the Injection Control Unit? Has anyone else encountered this specific P0201 problem with their 2007 Nissan Primastar?

To diagnose, unplug all injectors and measure voltage on the wiring harness. The common wire should read 12 volts, while the signal wire should show 0 volts when not firing. This test helps confirm whether the issue lies in the injector wiring or the Injection Control Module.
