2007 Chrysler Town & Country LX 3.3L - P0128 Code: No Heat After Replacing Thermostat and Sensors

Model: 2007 Chrysler Town & Country LX 3.3 Fault Code: P0128 Posted: 2015-01-09 05:18

My 2007 Chrysler Town & Country LX with a 3.3L V6 engine has reached 230,000 miles. I've already replaced the thermostat, gasket, ECT sensor, flushed the radiator, and bled the system. However, the vehicle still shows P0128 fault code and no heat is coming from the cabin. I'm looking for reliable advice on how to resolve this issue. Any insights or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

When the engine is cold, compare the ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor reading to the IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sensor. They should be close in value. Lack of heat could indicate air trapped in the cooling system or low coolant levels.

What level of coolant deficiency would trigger a P0128 code? Thanks for the clarification.

what temp is engine reaching? any other codes or issues? what deg rating was the thermostat? As colleague stated you need to use a scanner and observe WHAT the PCM is seeing- that would considerable lessen the troubleshoot time... check the ECT wire connector
