2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic P0101 P0172 P0175 P2A01 - Codes Only Appear at Highway Speeds
My 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic has been driven approximately 62,000 miles. The vehicle triggers fault codes P0101, P0172, and P0175, P2A01 only when driving at highway speeds. I have already inspected all vacuum hoses for cracks or leaks and cleaned the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. The truck is equipped with a K&N air filter and does not exhibit any rough idle, stalling, or other noticeable performance issues. Despite these checks, the codes persist under high-speed conditions.
Consider removing the K&N filter temporarily to test if it resolves the issue. Clean the MAF sensor thoroughly—this may address P0101, P0-172, and P0175. Additionally, there is a known O2 sensor wiring problem in this model. Have you replaced the oxygen sensors? If not, inspect the wiring harness for open circuits, shorts, or melted sections near the exhaust system. Ensure the correct type of sensor is installed and verify that the O2 heater circuit is functioning properly.
