2007 Cadillac DTS P0480 Code: Fan Relay 1 Issue and Solutions

After removing the old relay and installing the new one, the technician advised that I drive at least 50 miles to allow the car's computer to adapt to the new component. I drove approximately 2 miles, after which the check engine light turned off. However, as soon as I continued driving, the light returned and has stayed on ever since. The cooling fan appears to be running, but the temperature gauge remains stuck in the middle position — a condition that has been present since I purchased the vehicle.
