2006 Hyundai Tucson 2.0 CRDi: P2034 Error - EGT Sensor Circuit Low Bank 2 Sensor 2 Diagnosis
Hi everyone, I own a 2006 Hyundai Tucson 2.0 CRDi with 4WD and 173,000 km on the odometer. Recently, I've been encountering the following diagnostic error code: P2034 - Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensor Circuit Low - Bank 2, Sensor 2 My vehicle has two EGT sensors: one before the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and one inside the DPF. The P2034 code specifically refers to Bank 2, Sensor 2. I'm trying to determine whether this error points to the sensor located before the DPF or within the DPF. Does anyone have experience with this exact fault code on a 2006 Hyundai Tucson CRDi? What are the common causes and how should I diagnose which sensor is faulty? Any insights, troubleshooting steps, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help! Note: This issue may affect emissions performance and engine efficiency, so timely diagnosis is important.
