My friend recently encountered three diagnostic trouble codes on their 2006 Ford Expedition with a 5.4L engine: P0121, P2104, and P2119. The vehicle has accumulated 92,072 miles. These codes are affecting performance and fuel efficiency. What should be done to resolve this issue? Are there known solutions or technical service bulletins (TSBs) from Ford for these specific codes? Has anyone else experienced similar problems with the same combination of codes on a 2006 Ford Expedition?

Ford has issued several Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) related to this issue. In many cases, cleaning the throttle body resolves the problem. However, in other instances, replacement of the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) or the throttle body itself is required. Additionally, updating the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software to the latest version may help address these codes and improve engine performance.

Thanks for the info! I'll try cleaning both the TPS and throttle body first before moving on to more expensive repairs.
