In the 2006 Dodge Durango's Kev diagram, the negative side of the O2 sensor heater circuit is permanently grounded, while the positive side is powered by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). There are no fuses in this circuit. If the system behaves differently than described, it may indicate a wiring issue, faulty sensor, or potential PCM malfunction. To troubleshoot effectively: - Verify proper ground connection at the sensor. - Use a DVOM to measure voltage applied to the heater element. - Confirm that the sensor is correctly installed and located—ensure you are testing the right O2 sensors (typically upstream on Bank 1, Sensor 1 and 2).
