ENGINE WAS REPLACED TWICE AT ANOTHER LOCATION WHILE CRANKING FOR 6 OR 8 SECONDS ENGINE WILL START CODE FOR CAMSHAFT CORRELATION WILL PUP UP I HAD BELIEVED THE CAMSHAFT SPROCKET WAS WRONG KNOWING THERE IS TWO OR TREE DIFFERENT GEAR SENSOR RELUCTOR TYPES I DID TRIED THE SPROCKET ON THE LEFT CAMSHAFT SPROCKET ONE OF THE TROUBLE CODES WHEN AWAY BUT STILL HARD TO GET IT TO START AND CODE P0016 STILL THERE MAY QUESTION IS DID THEY PROBABLY INSTALL THE ENGINE WITH THE WRONG FLYWHEEL OR THERE IS ANOTHER POSSIBLE CAMSHAFT GEAR THAT I MAY NOT KNOW THE CRANK AND CAM SENSORS ARE NEW OEM THE PCM WAS ALREADY REPLACED WITH THE SAME SYMPTOMS I WILL REALLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP THANKS ALL OF YOU FOR READING

turn off caps lock- seen as shouting in forums. You GOt a mess to undo, replaced engines- PCM,s sounds like extreme 'shotgunning' are parts from chrysler or what? seams a home made problem made worse. Anyway - excess cranking - I would look at fuel pressure. so little is in play during start up, fuel pressure, ignition (spark), fuel (pulse). I would suggest a graphing scanner* to look at wave forms from the CMP and CKP.. I believe a scanner will check the correlation and display - I do not remember the specs + or - range... If you follow up I will try to get the details. *labscope
