DTC B0100 Front Airbag Sensor 1 Performance Issue - 2006 Corvette After Front Collision
Hi, I own a 2006 Chevrolet Corvette and am currently experiencing DTC B0100 — indicating a performance issue with the front airbag sensor 1. This problem arose after I purchased the vehicle, which had previously been involved in a frontal collision. The driver's airbag and seatbelts were activated at the time of impact. Here’s what I’ve already done: - Replaced both the driver-side airbag and seatbelt components. - Sent the Airbag Control Module (ACM) to a professional for reset, but it was damaged during the process. - Purchased a used replacement ACM module and installed it. - Used a scan tool to check the SRS system post-installation, which still returned DTC B0100. Given that the vehicle had front-end damage, I suspected the front airbag sensor and replaced it with a new one. However, the code persists. I’ve also inspected the sensor connector and measured resistance (ohms) from the sensor’s connector to the fuse box connection — all readings are within normal range. What other diagnostic steps should I consider? Any insights on possible causes or testing procedures for this DTC B0100 in a 2006 Corvette? Thanks in advance, Sander.
did you clear the codes with a scan tool?and they came back?
