I own a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica with a 3.5L engine. Recently, after a mechanic worked on injector #5 by manipulating its connector, the vehicle began displaying Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0205 — indicating a fuel injector circuit malfunction. After swapping injector #5 with injector #3, the code P0205 persists. This suggests the issue is not with the physical injector itself but likely lies in the wiring or control circuit. When I reset the code and start the engine, the MIL light initially turns off but then reactivates after approximately 10 seconds, triggering the same P02005 code. This intermittent behavior points to a potential issue at the driver circuit within the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). I've seen similar reports in other forums mentioning PCM-related circuit faults. Could this be a known issue with the 2006 Chrysler Pacifica's driver circuit for injector #5? I’ve measured battery voltage at the injector #5 connector and observed approximately 4 volts on all other injectors. This suggests a possible weak signal or intermittent grounding issue, not a complete open circuit. I have also sent an email with my testing setup.
