2006 Chrysler 300C 5.7L Stuck in First Gear with P0717 and P0752 Codes - How to Fix at Home

Model: 2006 Chrysler 300C Fault Code: P0717 Posted: 2018-04-16 11:18

I own a 2006 Chrysler 300C with a 5.7L V8 engine. The car shifts smoothly into reverse and first gear, reaching up to 30-35 mph at around 2500 RPM. However, it will not shift into any higher gears. Two diagnostic trouble codes have appeared: P0717 (Turbine/Input Shaft Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal) and P0752 (Shift Solenoid A Stuck On). I've already checked the transmission fluid level and all connections — they are fine. Does anyone else experience this issue? What steps should I take to diagnose and fix it myself? I'm looking for a clear, step-by-step guide to resolve this without going to a mechanic immediately.
