I'm experiencing a P0546 fault code on my 2005 Volkswagen Passat TDI. I found a helpful answer online, but I need clarification on which sensor corresponds to Bank 1, Sensor 1. Is it the black plug located near the firewall, just above the two fuel lines, with wiring running along the firewall toward the passenger side and then into a metal tube with a 90-degree bend that connects to a threaded sensor on the turbocharger? The part appears to cost around $150 online, including the sensor and associated harness. Can anyone confirm this sensor location or provide an OEM reference number for the correct replacement part?
