My 2005 Kia Sorento is displaying a P0500 error code (Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction) during diagnostics. The speedometer and odometer are not working properly. I have a manual transmission and would like to know whether the vehicle speed sensor is located inside or outside the transmission. Can anyone confirm the exact location of this sensor?
