2005 Ford Taurus P0462 Fault: Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit Low Input After Fuel Pump Replacement

I'm currently working on a 2005 Ford Taurus. After installing a new fuel pump and sending unit, the fuel gauge is still reading incorrectly. The vehicle has triggered trouble code P0462 — Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit Low Input. I'm looking for possible root causes beyond the obvious connections.

The issue might be caused by a poor ground connection in the fuel level sensor circuit.

I've inspected all wires and connectors thoroughly — everything appears to be securely connected and free of damage.

If a wire or terminal looks clean and intact, does that mean the entire circuit is functioning properly?

True, I did the ohms meter on the entire line and found nothing wrong. Thank you Jeff for your time. I did find out that the flexfuel module is the cause
