My 2005 Ford F250 SD 4x4 with a 5.4L Triton V8 engine and 3-valve throttle body entered limp mode last week. This issue has recurred every two years since 2010, previously linked to the Throttle Actuator Control Valve (TACV) within the throttle body. I recently replaced the throttle body with a new throttle control actuator, but the problem persists. The OBD2 code P2104 is still present, and the truck remains in limp mode.
