2005 Ford F150 5.4L Engine P0053 and P2195 O2 Sensor Fault - Diagnosis and Fix
I recently replaced all four oxygen (O2) sensors as my scan tool indicated two failures. Now, I'm still receiving diagnostic codes P0053 and P2195. I've already replaced the Bank 1 O2 sensor once, using new Denso-made sensors from RockAuto, but the codes persist. The wiring appears to be intact and properly connected. I'm seeking guidance on what steps to take next—could it be a wiring issue, sensor grounding, or another component? Any advice on how to verify the heater circuit for P0053 or check for underlying causes of P2195 would be greatly appreciated.
Check the wiring schematic at www.bbbind.com/tsb-wiring-diagrams. Specifically verify the 12V supply to the heater circuit for code P005-3. Code P2195 is often a downstream result of an inaccurate O2 sensor reading, which may be linked directly to P0053.
