P0335 Fault Code in 2005 Chrysler 300C: Hard Starting and Persistent Oil Pressure/Oil Temperature Issues

Model: 2005 Chrysler 300C Fault Code: P0335 Posted: 2019-01-15 10:41

My 2005 Chrysler 300C is experiencing a hard starting issue, along with persistent engine oil pressure and oil temperature sensor fault codes. I have tried resetting the P0335 code multiple times, but it returns instantly after reset. The vehicle also shows other ongoing issues related to engine oil pressure and temperature monitoring. I'm seeking advice on how to properly diagnose and resolve this problem.

Please post all relevant diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). P0335 - CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT Note the keyword 'CIRCUIT'. Inspect the wiring harness and connection at the sensor located in the engine block, right rear area. Ensure the connector is securely fastened and free from corrosion. If replacing the sensor, it's recommended to use an OEM or dealer-part for reliability. The P0335 code will reappear if the underlying issue—such as faulty wiring or a defective sensor—is not properly resolved.

Thanks for the detailed advice—I'll inspect that area and verify the wiring and connection before replacing any components.
