2004 Chrysler Pacifica AWD Check Engine Light On with No Codes, Now Shows P0452

Model: 2004 Pacifica Fault Code: P0452 Posted: 2016-07-14 10:54

Hello, I own a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica AWD. The check engine light is on, but when I scan the vehicle using my OBD2 scanner, no error codes are detected. This is unusual because in the past, every time I've had the check engine light on, the scanner would return at least one code. My question: Can a faulty oxygen sensor cause the check engine light to illuminate without triggering any diagnostic trouble codes? I'd appreciate any insights or suggestions on what might be causing this behavior. Thank you for your help! Additional note: After driving for several miles, I now see error code P0452 — which is related to the EVAP (Evaporative Emission) system.

Consider getting a free OBD2 scan at auto parts stores like AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts. These scans can serve as a second opinion, especially since some scanners have limited capabilities and may not detect all codes.

I drove the vehicle for several miles and now the scanner shows error code P045或P0452. This is typically related to the EVAP system, specifically a pressure sensor issue or a leak in the purge solenoid circuit.

Do you have access to an OBD2 scanner that can read all possible codes? P0452 - NVLD Pressure Switch Circuit Low The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) does not detect the NVLD switch as open.
