I recently purchased a 2004 Monte Carlo Supercharged from a friend who no longer has time for it. The car is experiencing severe performance issues: it boggs down significantly while driving and shuts off unexpectedly. After neutralizing and restarting, the vehicle runs normally again. I've noticed check engine light flashes, and O2 sensor-related codes (P0134, P0135) are present. However, the car has headers installed and no catalytic converter—does removing or bypassing the catalytic converter eliminate O2 sensor errors? I’ve also heard that a faulty mass airflow sensor could be causing the misfire (P0300), but I’m not seeing a code for it. Any insights on diagnosing or fixing this issue in a 2004 Monte Carlo Supercharged with no cat and persistent engine stalling?

Car has a hypertech max energy and im putting everything back to factory and going from there, looking to make it my daily driver, also when car boggs check engine flashes, thinking its a miss fire...
