2004 Chrysler Sebring V6 Engine Misfire P0300 Cold Start Issue - OBD II Code Diagnosis

Model: 2004 Chrysler Sebring Fault Code: P0300 Posted: 2017-10-17 11:44

My 2004 Chrysler Sebring Limited Convertible with a 2.7L V6 engine experiences intermittent misfires in cold conditions, specifically setting OBD II code P0300 when the engine is cold. The vehicle runs smoothly and idles well at approximately 600 RPM once warmed up to 100°F, with good acceleration and fuel efficiency around 19 MPG. However, every time I start the car in a cold state, it initially idles normally for a few seconds before developing misfires that trigger the P0300 code. After warming up, all symptoms resolve and no further codes appear. I have already replaced key components including spark plugs, intake manifold gaskets, throttle body seal, PCV valve, IAC valve, MAF sensor, IAT sensor, camshaft and crankshaft position sensors, cam chain tensioner, oxygen sensors, catalytic converter, thermostat, water pump, and coolant temperature (CT) sensor. All wiring connections have been inspected and appear intact. I have ruled out vacuum leaks due to the smooth idle after warm-up, and fuel system issues are excluded because the vehicle runs normally once warmed up. No fault codes are present in the PCM. The car has only 68 or 68,000 miles on the odometer since new. I am seeking expert advice on potential root causes for this cold-start misfire issue with P0300. If anyone has experience troubleshooting this specific problem on a 2004 Chrysler Sebring V6, please feel free to reply or share insights directly via email at cowboy4urlife@yahoo.com. Thank you in advance for your help.
