2004 Chrysler Pacifica 3.5L Engine Fault Codes P0330, P0339, and P0403 with Check Engine Light Flashes and Stalling at 2500 RPM
I own a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica with a 3.5-liter engine. The vehicle is displaying three diagnostic trouble codes: P0330, P0339, and P0400. The check engine light flashes intermittently. The car starts and runs for a few minutes before stalling. Shortly before stalling, the battery warning light turns on. The engine reaches a rev limiter at approximately 2500 RPM. These symptoms suggest potential issues with crankshaft position sensor signals or EGR system wiring.
Confirmed P0330 and P0339 codes. P0339 indicates intermittent crankshaft position (CKP) signal, likely due to a faulty sensor or loose wiring at the connector. P0403 points to an EGR solenoid wiring issue—check for corrosion or poor connections in the EGR system. For P0330, I'm planning to research and share a DIY guide on inspecting the crankshaft position sensor wiring.
