Is there no GM dealership nearby? That seems difficult to believe—where is the vehicle currently located? I did not suggest replacing the sensor; code P0342 often points to wiring or voltage issues. A proper voltage check under KOEO conditions is required. All these codes contribute to poor drivability and increased fuel consumption.

Can I get a diagram or image of the Chevrolet Optra throttle position sensor switch A and switch B? Similar to what was provided for the camshaft position sensor (P0342), this would greatly help in diagnosing related issues.
