2003 Mazda MPV P0743 Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Circuit Electrical

Model: 2003 Mazda MPV Fault Code: P0743 Posted: 2016-03-23 01:29

I am Mr. Tom, I have 2003 Mazda mpv I have driven for almost 2 years now. I got P0743 Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Circuit Electrical then I decided to install a new valve body and now, there is no store code and the car does not drive when engaged. We removed the PCM and the drive is engaged very well but didn't move well. Please, I need advice from you on what to do.

I can not follow - why did you change valve body? The code was a CIRCUIT issue to start. Did you check the TCC solenoid wiring? Your trans work likely has some issues - might want to recheck the work and use a professional scanner to look at TCM for codes.

I was actually confused and thought the TCC circuit was part of valve body. I checked the wires and cannot find any trace of cut. my problem actually started when I had rough idle then I removed the throttle position sensor TPS from the throttle body and started driving the van before I notice the drive behaving like neutral. please, what do you think I should do? thanks

THe system will not operate with components removed. Put it all back together rescan - post ALL codes.
