P0172 Fault Code in 2003 Honda Accord V6: Diagnosis and Solutions

I'm experiencing a serious issue with my 2003 Honda Accord V6. After refueling, the car begins to slow down significantly. When I press the accelerator, it only reaches about 500 RPM and then suddenly dies after traveling less than 5 miles. The engine idles at 500 RPM when not under load, but immediately shuts off when I try to accelerate. I used an OBD2 scanner and received the P0172 diagnostic code, which indicates a rich air-fuel mixture in the intake system. Prior to this, when attempting to accelerate beyond 3000 RPM, the engine unexpectedly downshifts and produces a loud popping or knocking sound. I have no technical background and am completely unfamiliar with car diagnostics. Can anyone provide guidance on what this code means and how to fix it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
