I own a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Cummins engine, and I'm experiencing rough idle and lack of power. The onboard diagnostic system has triggered two fault codes: P0204 (Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinder 4) and P2149 (Fuel Injector Group B Supply Voltage Circuit Open). Based on these codes, I suspect either a faulty fuel injector or an issue with the injector wire harness. Could anyone provide guidance on diagnosing or repairing this problem? The most likely cause is a damaged or loose wiring harness connecting to the fuel injector, particularly the section exiting the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). This can lead to open circuits and misfires in cylinder 4. Check for corrosion, physical damage, or poor connections at the harness connector.
