I'm experiencing eight OBDII diagnostic trouble codes on my 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier: P0753, P0758, P1860, P0135, P753P, P758P, P1860P, and P135P. I understand the definitions of each code, but I'm unsure where to begin troubleshooting. What are the recommended steps for diagnosing and testing these issues? To troubleshoot these codes, use a volt/ohmmeter along with a wiring diagram from ALLDATA or another reputable repair manual. Begin by checking for common power or ground faults in the transmission solenoid circuits. If those are intact, proceed to test the resistance of each solenoid according to the manufacturer's specifications.
