2002 code p0306

i replaced spark plugs gas filter #6 ignition coil #6 injector compression is good on all cylinders. # 6 cyl has injector pulse and spark. vacumme steady at 18" yet #6 cylinder seems to be totally dead . the only thing i can think is maybe intake gasket or manifold cracked , but cant see underside of intake. has anybody seen simular problem? id like to find out before i remove intake

What vehicle? Just because you have injector pulse doesn't mean that the injector is okay. Did you perform fuel injector leakdown test? It's imperative to check for a clogged injector before condemning anything. How did you test for injector pulse? Did you provide a ground or use the injector driver ground?

2002 chevy tahoe 5.3 flex fuel code z i swapped coils,injectors,wires #6 cyl still is dead it has same compression as all the other cylinders

ok i found the problem i took off the valve cover the exaust valve spring was broken on that cylinder iguess it holds valve closed enough for a good compression test but not when its running
