2002 VW Jetta 1.8 Turbo P0118 Code: Fix After Replacing ECT Sensor and Ignition Coils

Hi everyone, I'm having trouble with my 2002 VW Jetta 1.8 Turbo that's showing a persistent P0118 engine code along with occasional misfires. I've already replaced the ignition coils (which were faulty) and spark plugs to address the misfiring issue. After researching, I suspected the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor as a potential cause of the P0118 code, so I replaced it as well. The check engine light turned off after the replacement, and I used an OBD2 scanner to clear all codes. However, the P0110 code is still showing up in the system even though the warning light is no longer on. This is preventing me from passing smog inspection. I'm wondering what else could be causing this—could it be a wiring issue or a faulty connector? Additionally, my engine still exhibits a slight idle stutter, which has improved but remains noticeable. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
