My 2002 Saturn SL2 1.9L DOHC is over 16 years old and has recently triggered transmission fault codes P0732, P0733, and P0734. As someone with no prior experience working on transmissions, these codes are concerning. I've researched potential fixes and found the KEN PARTIN 'CLASSIC' Saturn TAT Rebuilt Valve Body (1993–2002) with Sonnax updates. Would a rebuilt valve body with Sonnax enhancements resolve these issues? I'm planning to also replace the transmission oil filter (screw-on type), flush the transmission fluid, and thoroughly clean the system—including running a magnet to remove loose metal particles. The car currently shifts harshly and occasionally bangs when shifting into reverse. Does anyone have experience or recommendations on diagnosing and fixing these specific P0732/P0733/P0734 codes in this model?
