P1093 Diagnostic and Smoke at Idle in 2002 GMC Duramax

I own a 2002 GMC Duramax with a P1093 diagnostic code. The engine starts easily, but it smokes significantly at idle. The P1093 code appears only when the vehicle is under full throttle. I believe the issue may be related to fuel injectors, as I've been advised that injector replacement might resolve the problem. However, several repair shops have suggested I might also need a CP3 pump replacement. I've checked my balance rates and found a few are marginal, which could contribute to the symptoms.
