I'm experiencing a P0356 diagnostic trouble code on my 2002 Ford Escape. I've already removed the coil pack wires from cylinders 5 and 6, but this has not resolved the issue. The engine is only running on cylinder 3, indicating a potential misfire in cylinders 5 or 6. Given that swapping coils hasn't helped, I'm now considering whether the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) might be faulty. Any insights or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

Try swapping the coil pack from a different cylinder (not cylinder 6) with the one on cylinder 5 to see if the P0356 code moves. This helps isolate whether the issue is with the coil or the engine control module.
