2002 Dodge Ram 4.7L Engine P0320 Fault: PCM No Response Despite Power and Ground Checks
Hi everyone, I'm troubleshooting a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L V8 automatic 4x4 with a persistent P0320 code. The DRBIII diagnostic tool shows 'PCM no response'. I've already verified power and ground connections to the PCM — both are good. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor, and continuity tests for both cam and crank sensors show no issues. Injector firing is confirmed via bi-directional control; injectors respond when manually triggered. However, there's no RPM reading on DRBIII in live data mode, and only one spark occurs every few months. I've tested with a known-good used PCM unit — still no RPM or engine response. Injectors fire manually, but the ABS system becomes erratic during testing (though recalibration resolves it). The original PCM and TCM have now been reinstalled. Is there any chance the PCM's EPROM is corrupted or unsoldered? Any similar experiences with 2002 Dodge Ram 4.7L P032 or PCM-related no-start issues?
