OBD P0141 Code Returns After Replacement: 2002 Honda CR-V EX
I'm using an ELM327 WiFi OBD-II adapter to read diagnostic trouble codes and recently picked up a P0141 code on my 2002 Honda CR-V EX. This code appeared alongside several other codes (exact values not remembered as I didn't record them), which led me to replace the front oxygen sensor. I installed an aftermarket wideband Denso oxygen sensor, and initially the vehicle ran smoothly for about 10 minutes of slow driving. However, shortly after, the check engine light reappeared with the same P0141 code. I cleared the code using the OBD-II reader, but it returned immediately. I'm also confused by the OBD display showing 'Oxygen Sensor 1 Present' — there are actually two oxygen sensors in this vehicle: one before the catalytic converter and one after. Why does the system refer to only one as 'Sensor 1'? Any insight into why P0141 is recurring and how to properly diagnose or resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
